Open call for letterpress protest posters

This is an international call for letterpress artworks to be exhibited in London, UK during November and December 2020. Curated by New North Press to mark 10 years since their seminal Reverting to Type exhibition, the show will include progressive artwork from established presses around the world, alongside that of students and specially-invited collaborators.

Letterpress has long been a medium of dissent and this will be an exhibition of artwork with something to say: posters sounding a warning signal about the global climate crisis; railing against fake news and surveillance capitalism; confronting fascism, sexism and racism; fighting for equal opportunities and inclusivity. If you have access to a printing press this is your chance to have a voice!
